Marie Katherine Sullivan, age 98 of Georgetown, Ohio died Monday, May 7, 2012 at the Villa Georgetown Nursing and Rehabilation in Georgetown, Ohio. She was a nurse’s aid for twelve years for the Brown County General Hospital and a member of the St. George Catholic Church in Georgetown, Ohio. Marie was born February 1, 1914 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late George and Mary (Henke) Roquet. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband – Cecil Sullivan in 1958, two sons – James Sullivan in 2010 and Ralph “Pee Wee” Sullivan in January 2012.
Mrs. Sullivan is survived by two sons – Glenn Sullivan of Georgetown, Ohio and Fred Sullivan of Peebles, Ohio; one daughter – Rita Stogsdill of Cincinnati, Ohio; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one daughter-in-law – Bonnie Sullivan of Georgetown, Ohio; two nieces – Betty DeHass of Sardinia, Ohio and Mary E. Ford of Lafollette, Tennessee and special friend – Frankie Scott of Georgetown, Ohio.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the St. George Catholic Church in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Dohrman Byers will be the celebrant. There will be no visitation. Interment will be in the St. Mary Cemetery in Arnheim, Ohio. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the St. George Catholic Church, 501 East State Street, Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
