Charles W. "Charlie" Pursley, age 72 of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a school teacher for the Western Brown Local Schools, Mariemont City Schools and retired after 37 years of service from the Williamsburg Local School District, a member of the Fairview Chapel Church, several Draft Horse Organizations and the Farm Bureau. He was born November 23, 1941 in Mt. Orab, Ohio the son of Eileen (Wilson) Kraeft of Mt.Orab Ohio and the late Harold Pursley. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one son – Jeffrey Pursley, step-father – Elmer Kraeft and one brother – Carl Kraeft.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Pursley is survived by his wife – Donna (Bohl) Pursley; one daughter – Amy Hatfield and husband Larry of Batavia, Ohio; two grandchildren – Austin and Erin Hatfield both of Batavia, Ohio; one brother – Donald Pursley and wife Jeanie of Mt. Orab, Ohio; mother-in-law – Frances Bohl of Mt. Orab, Ohio and many family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 6:00 P.M. Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
