Allan A. Streit

Allan A. Streit, age 68,  of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at the Hospice of Cincinnati – East in Anderson Township, Ohio.   He worked for 42 years with the John R. Jurgensen Company and most recently as Vice President of Eaton Asphalt. He was loved and respected by his colleagues and family and will be missed dearly by all.   Allan was a mentor to many and when he wasn’t working he enjoyed spending time with his family and gardening. He especially loved spending the summer months with his youngest grandson Shiloh.  Allan was born March 25, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Emery and Alfrieda (Mader) Streit. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother – Jim Streit.

Mr. Streit is survived by his wife of 40 years, Bonnie (McElroy) Streit; three daughters - Carmen West and husband Michael, Alana Streit and husband Matt Jarboe and Casey Streit and husband Zac Farrell; four grandchildren - Zachary, Austin and Abby West and Shiloh Farrell; one brother – Randy Streit and wife Karen; two sisters – Kathy McGowen and husband George and Carol Sears and husband Rick and one brother-in-law – Wayne McElroy.
