Bobby H. Bingaman

Bobby H. Bingaman, age 87 of Bethel, Ohio died Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at his residence. He was a fire inspector for Simplex Grinnel, served on the Mt.Orab Fire Department from 1960 - 1986 and Fire Chief from 1960-1972 and 1977 - 1986, was a United States Navy Veteran, a United States Army Korean Conflict veteran, a 50 year member the New Harmony Masonic Lodge F&AM #435 and a member of the Mt.Orab United Methodist Church.  Bobby was born September 7, 1927 in Mt.Orab, Ohio the son of the late Harold and Dorothy (Driver) Bingaman. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife - Mary (Shope) Bingaman and one great grandson - Hunter Bingaman.

Mr. Bingaman is survived by two children - Catherine Cundiff and husband Michael of Bethel, Ohio and Christopher H. Bingaman of Bethel, Ohio; three grandchildren - Christopher R. Bingaman and wife Breanne of Amelia, Ohio, Leigh Ann Cundiff of Statesboro, Georgia and Brittany Everetts and husband Christopher of Jeffersonville, Ohio; three great grandsons; one sister-in-law - Jean Grider of Mt.Orab, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Bruce Dickerson will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Thursday, May 14, 2015 and from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be held at 7:30 P.M. Thursday.  Interment will be in the Mt.Orab Cemetery in Mt.Orab, Ohio with Military services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180 of Georgetown, Ohio.
