Bobby Eugene Kinney

Bobby Eugene Kinney, age 86 of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman, Ohio. He was an installer for the Western Electric Company, a United States WWII Army veteran, a member of the Archie Lee Boyce American Legion Post #406 in Bethel, Ohio, the Batavia Lodge F&AM #104 and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati. Bobby was born March 9, 1929 in Virgie, Kentucky the son of the late John Wesley and Dixie Gladys (Smith) Kinney. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife – Myrtle (Barker) Kinney in 2005.

Mr. Kinney is survived by one daughter – Melissa Kinney-Mauch of Georgetown, Ohio; two grandchildren – Kristen Mauch of Columbus, Ohio and Cody Mauch of Amelia, Ohio; one sister – Betty Beuerlein of Amelia, Ohio; one brother – John Kinney of Falmouth, Kentucky and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Keith Hill will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, August 14, 2015 at the funeral home with Masonic and Scottish Rite Ring Services at 7:45 P.M. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio with military services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180 of Georgetown, Ohio.
