Charles Robert Martin

Charles Robert Martin, Jr., age 87 of Russellville, Ohio died Thursday, April 14, 2016 at his residence. He was retired from Cincinnati Milacron, a farmer, a brick mason, a member of the Bible Baptist Church in West Union, Ohio and a United States Korean War Army veteran. Jr. was born November 10, 1928 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Charles Robert and Adeline (Wardlow) Martin, Sr. Besides is parents, he was preceded in death by two sons – Gary “Rock Man” and Keith Martin, five brothers – Earl, Carl, Roy, Clarence and Aubry Martin and three sisters – Faye Brennan, Grace Ann Robinson and Freda Koster.

Mr. Martin is survived by his wife of nearly sixty-two years – Mary Ruth (Thompson) Martin, whom he married May 14, 1954; one son – Steven Martin of Georgetown, Ohio; one daughter – Barbara Dailey of Russellville, Ohio; five grandchildren – Jeremy Martin of Mt.Orab, Ohio, Josh Martin of Lake Waynoka, Jami Martin of Mt.Orab, Ohio, Angel Martin of Russellville, Ohio and Adrainann Martin of  Felicity, Ohio; nine great grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; one sister – Lucille  Gump of California and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Tim Carter will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday, April 18, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio with military services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180 of Georgetown, Ohio.
