Delbert Dean Manley, age 80 of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, November 26, 2015 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia, Ohio. Mr. Manley was the owner of the Town and Country Tavern in Ripley, Ohio for the past thirty years. He was a United States Army veteran, a member of the Courts-Fussnecker American Legion Post #367 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge # 2293. Mr. Manley was born December 19, 1934 in Lewis County, Kentucky the son of the late Larry and Lottie (Polley) Manley. He was also preceded in death by his wife of fifty-one years – Clarissa (McKibben) Manley in 2011, they were married June 15, 1959; one son – Leonard Leo Rice, one grandson- Colt Little, two brothers – Lovell “Mousey” Manley and Herschel Manley and one sister – Una Manley.

Mr. Manley is survived by one daughter – Charlene Mae Purdy of Georgetown, Ohio; three grandchildren – Autumn Little and husband Clay of Georgetown, Ohio, Graham Purdy of Columbus, Ohio and Dawn Hampton and husband Cameron of Milford, Ohio; six great grandchildren – Chloe, Celie and Corbyn Little and Christian, Sierra and Gracie Hampton; two brothers – Larry Manley,Jr. of West Milton, Ohio and Roger Manley and wife Cindy of Ripley, Ohio and three sisters – Betty Crawford of Georgetown, Ohio, Violet Rice and husband Leo of Higginsport, Ohio and Carolyn Hughes and husband Larry of Georgetown, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio with veteran services by the Courts-Fussnecker American Legion Post #367. Scott Hennig will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Linwood Cemetery in Russellville, Ohio.
