Donald Ray Carrington

Donald Ray Carrington, age 84 of Georgetown, Ohio died Monday, July 24, 2017 at Anderson Mercy Hospital in Anderson Township, Ohio. He was a retired truck driver, farmer and carpenter. Mr. Carrington was born July 6, 1933 in Higginsport, Ohio the son of the late Cleo and Marie (Huey) Carrington. He was also preceded in death by one son – Donald Ray Carrington, Jr., four brothers – Harold, Wayne, Olan and Marion Carrington and two sisters – Mary Phillips and Wilma Morrison.

Donald is survived by his wife of sixty years – Ethel (Fithen) Carrington, whom he married August 11, 1956; two sons – Michael Carrington and wife Vicki of Georgetown, Ohio and Jeffery L. Carrington and wife May of Georgetown, Ohio; seven grandchildren – Austin, Stella, Alexandra, Mackenzi, Sydney, Anthony and Brandon Carrington; one great grandson – Carter Carrington; one sister – Betty Glassco and husband Edsel of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, July 28, 2017 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Scott Hennig will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
