Ferne Caroline (Allman) Ernst

Ferne Caroline Ernst, age 87 of Sardinia, Ohio and most recently of Bell Gardens Place in Hillsboro, Ohio died Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Arnheim, Ohio. Ferne was born September 26, 1927 in Ashridge, Ohio the daughter of the late Harley and Carolene (Schneder) Allman. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur Ernst in 2006, two sisters - Gladys Oetzel and Alice Plummer and two brothers - Raymond H. Allman (infant) and Glenn Allman.

Mrs. Ernst is survived by three children - Patricia Busch and husband Harold of Sardinia, Ohio, Linda Dotson and husband Philip of Winchester, Ohio and Robert Ernst and wife Julianne of Mt.Orab, Ohio; six grandchildren - Leigh Ann Allemang and husband Kirk of Sardinia, Ohio, Rachelle Cameron and husband Brian of Loveland, Ohio, Matthew Busch of Eastgate, Ohio, Nathan Dotson of Winchester, Ohio, Eric Ernst of Mt.Orab, Ohio and Jason Ernst and wife Tara of Dayton, Ohio; four great grandchildren - Connor Allemang of Sardinia, Ohio and Ethan, A.J. and Lindsey Cameron all of Loveland, Ohio and one sister - Margaret Johnson of Wilmington, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Arnheim, Ohio. Visitation will be from 1:30 P.M. - 2:30 P.M. Sunday at the church. Interment will be in the Sardinia Cemetery in Sardinia, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab is serving the family.
