Freda Irene (Warner) Haubner

Freda Irene Haubner, age 98 of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, June 20, 2015 at her residence. She was the head cook of the Georgetown Exempted Village Schools from 1958 until her retirement in 1977. She was also a member of the Georgetown Church of Christ. Mrs. Haubner was born February 16, 1917 in Norwood, Ohio the daughter of the late Carl and Pearl Edna (Hanselman) Warner. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 1995 – Louis Raymond Haubner whom she married February 16, 1935, one daughter – Maxine Gillette, one grandson – Louis Haubner, III, one brother – Carl Frances Warner and two sisters – Alverda Jennings and Esther Howard.

Mrs. Haubner is survived by two sons – Earl Haubner and wife Ruth Anne of Brazil and Louis R. Haubner, Jr. and wife Dian of Apopka, Florida; two daughters – Debbie Adkins and husband Bob of Ripley, Ohio and Vicki Lang and husband Lee of Amelia, Ohio; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; caregiver and special friend – Helen Williams of Georgetown, Ohio and best friend – Torie Utter of Georgetown, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio 45121. Vernon Green, Scott Hennig and Kevin Whitsett will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Wednesday at the church. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
