We are truly sorry for your great loss. We have heard about Gary and Don's kinship and friendship. We almost feel like we knew Gary personally . We wish to think all family members and Gary Lee Barber for fighting for our freedom during the Vietnam War. We wish there was some way to take away your grief and sorrow. We realize this can only be done by remembering the sweet and delightful memories you have of Gary. Also allowing God to place His arms around you as you grieve together will begin the healing of your broken hearts. We shall continue to Pray for each of you. We will be praying especially during his memorial service that you will feel God's healing power of love.May God bless and comfort all during the days ahead, Praying yours, Sue and Charlie Harrison (Cathy and Don Barber's aunt and uncle).

Mrs. Barber, Sonia & family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I got the pleasure of getting to know Gary during my time as a nurse at Milacron, what an awesome person, one of my favorite to grab a coffee with & discuss our hometown. He was always proud to talk about his family! Always smiling, happy & ready to help whoever & whenever he saw it was needed. I'm so fortunate I got the chance to know him better & he will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, family man & a great friend to all who knew him. Praying for all of you during this time. I am so very sorry!

So sorry to hear of Mr. Barber's passing. I always enjoyed running into him because his smile was so genuine. He was very pleasant. Though I did not know him well I considered him a fine person. I will miss seeing him from time to time with that warm friendly smile. Prayers for all of your family.

Gary was my Best Friend growing up and has continued to be through the years. I have always known Gary to help others when in need. He made the time whether he had it or not. He was a Leader and an organizer, making sure all details were taken care of. Nothing was ever too big or too hard for him to Handle! He will be missed by all who knew him.

Dear Mary,
You know I am here if you need me. I am so sorry that Gary has passed. I am just so sad for you, and the kids. He was so very special to our family ...Tom thought the world of him. Now he and Tom can have some cold ones together.
Love you.
