James Gordon Phillips

James Gordon Phillips, age 70 of Ripley, Ohio, departed this earth August 13, 2015 at his residence.  He was retired from Dayton Power and Light.  Jim enjoyed his family as well as small town life in Ripley.  He was born January 15, 1945 in Maysville, Kentucky the son of Ileta (Edwards) Phillips of Ripley and the late Jim Phillips.

In addition to his mother, Jim is survived by his loving wife of forty-four years – Diana (Schroth) Phillips; one son – Christopher Phillips and wife Renee of Cincinnati, Ohio; one daughter – Jennifer Phillips of Ripley; two grandchildren who he adored dearly – Joshua and Karisa Phillips; one brother – John Phillips of Mt. Orab, Ohio; two aunts – Annabelle Edwards of Ripley and Eileen Edwards of Green Valley, Arizona.

Following cremation, private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
