Judy Marilyn (Smith) Jodrey-Thomas

Judy Marilyn Smith Jodrey-Thomas, age 58 of Georgetown, Ohio died December 7, 2016 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia, Ohio. She was a 1975 graduate of Georgetown High School, a former employee of Williamsburg Electronics in 1977, Queen City Packing, Arco, Nutone for eighteen years, Fidelity from 2005 – 2015 and Hahms Automotive part time on weekends. Judy loved her Honda cars, roses, gardening, mowing the yard, her passion fruit vine, long walks, birds, swimming and crossword puzzles. She was born December 31, 1957 in Suva, Figi Islands the daughter of the late Clarence Martin and Pearl (Pardoe) Smith. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents – Bruce and Marjorie Robertson; paternal grandparents – Edward and Mini-Mabel Smith; nephew Alick Hartley and many uncles, aunts, and several Smith cousins.

Judy is survived by her soul-mate and partner – John Thomas; one son – Gregory Jodrey of Nashville, Tennessee; two step daughters – Whitney Shields and fiancé Kent of Augusta, Kentucky and Suzanne Berry of Ash Ridge, Ohio; four grandchildren – Jaden, Alexis, Chelsea and Carson; three brothers – Bryce Owens and wife Patsy of Cincinnati, Ohio, Kenneth Smith and wife Mary of Crestview, Kentucky and Robert Smith of Mt. Orab, Ohio; six sisters – Claire Ray and husband Ron of Georgetown, Ohio, Ronwyn Woo and husband Michael of Georgetown, Ohio, Patricia Smith of Sardinia, Ohio, Colleena Steffan and husband Ron of Independence, Kentucky, Lynette Politini of Figi Islands and Kathy Balding and husband AJ of Ft. Myers, Florida, many nieces and nephews, special friends – Jody and Jeff Shanabrook and Mark and Sandy Thomas and many co-workers.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 12, 2016 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Monday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
