Lora E. "Betty" Turner

Lora Elizabeth “Betty” Turner, age 94 of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fairview Church. Mrs. Turner was born March 10, 1921 in Ripley, Ohio the daughter of the late Samuel Robert and Lora Vaughn (Parker) Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her husband – Thomas Turner in 2013, whom she married May 25, 1967.

Mrs. Turner is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins; three step children – Dr. Ana Thorne of Los Angeles, California, Olga Turner of Chicago, Illinois and Glen Turner of Los Angeles, California, six Step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Friday at the church. Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
