Thomas C. Mowell

Thomas Clay Mowell, age 63 of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman, Ohio. He was a global senior solution architect for EMC Squared.  Thomas was born April 18, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Thomas E. and Georgia L. (Sharp) Mowell, Jr. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter – Tracy Mowell.

Mr. Mowell is survived by his wife of nearly twenty-two years – Marcia E. (Gagyi) Mowell, whom he married on April 30, 1994; four children – Tammy Miller and husband Jon of Ross Township, Ohio, Amanda Pertuset and husband Chris of Butlerville, Ohio, Eric Cook, Jr. and wife Sherry of Milford, Ohio and Matt Atlieri and fiancée Aimee James of Mason, Ohio; four grandchildren – Jonathan and Joey Miller of Ross Township, Ohio, Erica Handermann and husband Trevor of Lebanon, Ohio and Jacob Cook of Milford, Ohio; two brothers – Kenneth Mowell and wife Sally of West Alexandria, Ohio and Karl Mowell and wife Trudy of Pleasant Plain, Ohio; two brothers-in-law – Steven Gagyi and wife Patti of Adamsville, Tennessee and Lee Gagyi and wife Susan of Downey, California; one sister-in-law – Donna Alexander and husband Jerry of Frostproof, Florida; eleven nieces and nephews, Matt Mowell and wife Amanda, Lance Mowell and wife Jandee, Eric Mowell, Jill Pait and husband Andy, Chris Gagyi, Derek Gagyi and wife Ashley, Andrew Gagyi and wife Samantha, Issac Alexander and fiancée Holly Acree, Jonathan Alexander and wife Sandy, Alex Gagyi and Luke Gagyi and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Rick Moore will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria, Ohio.
