Tom Brumfield

Tom Brumfield, age 58 of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Brumfield was retired from the State of Ohio Department of MRDD and a United States Army veteran. He was born September 7, 1957 in Rapid City, South Dakota the son of Doris (Workman) Brumfield Waugh and husband Rufus of Mt. Orab, Ohio and the late Hollis Brumfield. He was also preceded in death by one sister – Tressia Brumfield.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife – Cindy (Mefford) Brumfield; one daughter – Bethany Blust of Russellville, Ohio; five sons – Thomas Correy Brumfield and wife Brandy of Bethel, Ohio, Dustin and Joshua Brumfield both of Sardinia, Ohio, Michael Blust and wife Stephanie of Fayetteville, Ohio and Derek Brumfield of Batavia, Ohio; 7 grandchildren- Chloe and Hallie Brumfield both of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Landen and Gage Brumfield both of Bethel, Ohio, Austin and Ethan Blust both of Fayetteville,Ohio and Brooklyn Whisner of Russellville Ohio; four brothers – Larry and Jack Brumfield both of Georgetown, Ohio, Floyd Brumfield of Amelia, Ohio and Hollis Brumfield, Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky; one sister – Monica Rich of Georgetown, Ohio and several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the funeral services.
