Paul Denniston, age 75 of Albany, Kentucky and formerly of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Sunday, September 15, 2019 in Salvo, North Carolina. Mr. Denniston was retired from General Motors after thirty-three years of service and later from the Southern Hills Career Center. He was a member of the UAW and the Masonic Lodge #72 F. &A.M. He was born March 19, 1944 in Hamilton County, Ohio the son of the late Gilbert Vermont and Dolly Mae (Reed) Denniston. He was also preceded in death by his first wife – Carolyn Jean (Schuman) Denniston in 2001; four brothers – Lawrence, Ralph and Harold Shaefer and Charles Denniston; one sister – Carolyn Jean Watson and two grandsons – Lucas Storer and Samuel Foreman.
Mr. Denniston is survived by his wife – Diane (Houseman) Denniston; six children – Sherri (John) Foreman of Lake Cumberland, Kentucky, Michael Denniston ( Robin) of Georgetown, Ohio, Paula Sturm (Danny) of Hillsboro, Ohio, Debbie Wise (Jimmy) of Russellville, Ohio, Heidi Neal (Dave) of Shawnee Mission, Kansas and William Cheatham (Nancy) of Mason, Ohio; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters – Helen Schwarber of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Dorothy Hurst of Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother – Ronnie Denniston (Penny) of Mt. Orab, Ohio and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Pastor Steve Siekbert will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
