Sara Ruth Baird

Sara Ruth Baird, age 75 of Sterling, Virginia, died Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington D.C..  She was retired from the Central Intelligence Agency, a member of the Decatur Presbyterian Church, a member of the Young Americans and a lifelong member of the NRA.  Ms. Baird was born December 14, 1943 in Maysville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Frank Robert and Corrine (Foster) Baird.  She was also preceded in death by her infant sister- Donna Baird and a niece – Sara Porter.

Ms. Baird is survived by three siblings – Robert Baird (Arlene) of Franklin, North Carolina, Phyllis Porter (Al) of Peebles, Ohio and Janice Olson (Chuck) of Bellville, Texas; five nieces – Debbie Flinn, Kristi Lowery, Courtney Porter, Aubrey Olson and Jessica Olson.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the Russellville Church of Christ in Russellville, Ohio.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Saturday at the church.  Interment will follow the funeral service in Decatur Cemetery in Decatur, Ohio.
