Albert Dale Miller

Albert Dale Miller, age 68 of Hamersville, Ohio, departed this life Saturday, May 30, 2015 after a long battle with cancer.  He graduated from Mt. Orab High School in 1966, worked at General Electric in Evendale and Peebles, worked as a Union Boilermaker and as a general contractor.  Most importantly, he served his country in the United State Air Force in Vietnam and was Honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant in February 1973.  Dale, as he was affectionately known, was born January 14, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Ruth Odella (Hill) Miller of Mt. Orab, Ohio and the late Albert Franklin Miller.

In addition to his mother, Dale leaves behind his loving wife of thirty-two years – Patricia (Campbell) Miller; children – Sharon Miller of Williamsburg, Ohio, Karen (Vic) Vismara of Batavia, Ohio, Jodie Tracey of Williamsburg, Ohio, Tammie (Shane) Keller of Hamersville, Ohio, Ann Puckett of Georgetown, Ohio, Erik (Amy) Hamilton of Hillsboro, Ohio, Heather (Shawn) Myers of Felicity, Ohio, Allison Miller (Larry Schwallie) of Hamersville, Ohio; grandchildren – Tiffany Blankenship of Owensville, Ohio, Kyle (Lauren) Vismara of Amelia, Ohio, Elizabeth and Michael Tracey of Williamsburg, Ohio, Corey Keller of Hamersville, Ohio, Karlie Doyle of Georgetown, Ohio, Payton Puckett of Georgetown, Ohio, John Puckett III of Georgetown, Ohio, Alyssa, Clayton and Adalyn Myers of Felicity, Ohio, Michael, Ethan and Makenna Schwallie of Hamersville, Ohio; great grandchildren – Makayla, Landen and Bailey Blankenship; his siblings – Randy (Debbie) Miller of Williamsburg, Ohio, Ronald (Mary Anne) Miller of Amelia, Ohio, Terry (Jane) Miller of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Jim (Jeanette) Miller of Blanchester, Ohio, Connie (Joe) Watt of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Tom Miller of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Albert Miller of Goshen, Ohio and Gary Miller of Mt. Orab, Ohio; sister-in-law – Peggy (Jim) Watson of Georgetown, Ohio as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio.  Brother Lloyd Hopper will officiate.  Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday.  Interment will follow the funeral service in Shinkle’s Ridge Cemetery near Georgetown, Ohio.
