Gary Ray Truitt

Gary Ray Truitt, age 65 of Georgetown, Ohio, died Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at his residence. He was a retired U.S. Mail truck driver. Mr. Truitt was born October 5, 1953 in Ripley, Ohio the son of the late Junior and Agnes (Vaughn) Truitt. He was also preceded in death by two sisters – Betty Daniel and Evelyn Polley; one brother – Dale Truitt.
Mr. Truitt is survived by his loving wife of forty-four years – Kristi (King) Truitt; two sons – Gary R. “Rob” Truitt (Sherry) of Kearney, Nebraska and Adam Truitt (Deirdre) of Georgetown, Ohio; five grandchildren – Kelsie, Lane, Dirk, Ely and Brandon Truitt; two great-grandchildren – Adalyn and Chase Jennings; three sisters – June Ann McKinney of Ripley, Ohio, Linda Blevins of Manchester, Ohio and Shirley Brierly of Ripley, Ohio; two brothers – Donald and Jack Truitt, both of Georgetown, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday. Interment will follow the funeral service in Pisgah Ridge Cemetery near Ripley, Ohio.
