William “Bill” Dana Walsh, age 61 of Sardinia, Ohio passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at his home surrounded by loved ones after a twelve year battle with Carcinoid Syndrome. He began his career with General Electric before transitioning to a prestigious tenure with Cincinnati Thermal Spray. Along the way, Bill made friends with everyone who crossed his path. He was a mentor to scores of colleagues, a father figure to so many and a true friend to countless individuals. There truly are not words that can express the qualities that Bill excelled in. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and so much more. It would be nearly impossible to find a more kind, fair or caring person. No matter the circumstance, he gave everyone genuineness and integrity. Bill’s motto in life was Matthew 7:12; so in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you…

Bill was born February 23, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late William “Bucky” and Elinor (McNeil) Walsh. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son - Eric Walsh, father and mother-in-law - Charlie and Kay Fry, one brother - Tommy Walsh and one nephew - Ryan Fry.

Mr. Walsh is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, who has appreciated the outpouring of love and support - Cynthia (Fry) Walsh, whom he married August 20, 1976; three children - Carrie Cooke and husband David, Andrew Walsh and Dana Walsh and fiancée  Lisa Hutzelman, five grandchildren - Kaleigh, Cameron, Kennedy, Anthony and Aiden and five brothers and sisters - Ellen Murray, John Walsh, Jeanne and Bob Steinhauer and Susan Seay-Smiddy.

Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate Bill's life will be held  Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the Northminster Presbyterian Church, 703 Compton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231 from 3:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.. The Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio is serving the family.
