Addie Lou Purcell

Addie Lou Purcell, age 80 of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Villa Georgetown in Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Purcell was a homemaker and attended the Bethel Pentecostal Church of God. She was born May 25, 1934 in High Bridge, Kentucky the daughter of the late James and Lucy (Horton) Gibson. She was also preceded in death by her husband – Cecil Purcell and eight brothers and sisters - Elbert Gibson, James William Gibson, Calvin Gibson, Bobby Gibson, Jerry Gibson, Molly Belle Gibson, Betty Gibson and Virginia Sallee.

Mrs. Purcell is survived by four sons – James W. Johnson and wife Linda of Higginsport, Ohio, Gene E. Johnson and wife Diane of Hamersville, Ohio, Eddie R. Johnson and wife Rhonda of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Dean M. Purcell of Russellville, Ohio; one daughter – Anita Altman of Eastgate, Ohio; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and one brother – Walter Gibson and wife Kathy of Springfield, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Vernon Green will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Wednesday. Interment will be in the Bethel Tate Cemetery in Bethel, Ohio.
