Albert William Brumback, Jr., age 74 of Russellville, Ohio, died Friday, March 25, 2016 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Kentucky. He was a United States Air Force Vietnam War Era Veteran, a former deputy sheriff for Clark County, Ohio, a former firefighter and EMT for Mad River Township, Ohio, a member of the Carey Bavis American Legion Post # 180 in Georgetown, Ohio and a lifetime member of the DAV. Mr. Brumback was born June 21, 1941 in Charleston, West Virginia the son of the late Albert William and Inez Orlena (Wiseman) Brumback. He was also preceded in death by his wife – Anna Pearl (Rivers) Brumback and one sister – Nora Rosenberger.
Mr. Brumback is survived by one daughter – Amy Jo Atha of Springfield, Ohio; one stepson – Bruce Allen Duerstine of Enon, Ohio; three grandchildren – Tonya Justine Atha of Lakewood, Ohio, Tammy Jolene Atha of Oxford, Ohio and Robert Kelly Atha of Springfield, Ohio; one step grandson – Dalton Andrew Duerstine of Enon, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday. Interment will be in Ash Ridge Cemetery in Ash Ridge, Ohio with Military Honors being provided by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180 of Georgetown, Ohio.
