Albert "Jake" Pritchard

Albert "Jake" Pritchard, age 89 of Ripley, Ohio died Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at his son's home in Williamsburg, Ohio. He retired after thirty years of service from the Ford Motor Company and was a proud member of the United Auto Workers Union and the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Jake was born October 22, 1921 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Frank and Marie (Rottinghaus) Prichard. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-six years, Mary Rose (Germann) Prichard in 2002, whom he married August 28, 1945 one sister - Lillian Fischesser and five brothers - Frank, Edward, William, Richard and Jack Pritchard.

Mr. Prichard is survived by five sons - William Michael Prichard and wife Cheryl (nee Waits) of Fayetteville, Ohio, Donald Eugene Prichard and wife Deborah (nee Fussnecker) of Williamsburg, Ohio, Frank Thomas Prichard of Cynthiana, Kentucky, James Albert Prichard and wife Kathy (nee Kratzer) of Ripley, Ohio and Richard Harold Pritchard and wife LeeAnn (nee Malott) of Mt.Orab, Ohio; fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one sister - Marie Miller of Franklin, Indiana; one brother - Earl Pritchard of Maineville, Ohio and two brothers-in-law - Bill and Paul Germann both of Ripley, Ohio

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Dohrman Byers will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Friday, August 5, 2011 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Interment will be in the Red Oak Cemetery near Ripley, Ohio.
