Alene and SJ lived and raised their children in the small town of Kings Mills for almost 60 years. They loved and cared for anyone they ever met. They were members of Kings Mills Baptist Church where she taught 3 rd graders in Sunday School for many years. She loved each and every one of them with her whole heart and her only desire was that each and every one of them would come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior before leaving her class. She spent hours, upon hours preparing for her lessons each week with any kind of visuals she could come up with so they could have the greatest impact on them and might be remembered for the rest of their lives. Even after retiring from her teaching at the church, she had a children's Bible Study each week in her home for many years. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
