Alva Marshall Taylor

Alva Marshall Taylor, age 68 of Sardinia, Ohio died Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Villa Georgetown Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Taylor was a truck driver for JB Hunt Company and a United States Army Viet Nam War veteran serving in the 585 th Engineer Company. He was born December 13, 1950 in Felicity, Ohio the son of the late Charles Taylor and Dorothy (Myers) Baker.
Mr. Taylor is survived by two daughters – Carrie L. Taylor (Sarah Sheffield) of Sardinia, Ohio and Lori A. Rose (Dale) of Williamstown, Kentucky; two grandchildren – Cecil Richard Rose II and Dusti Diamond Rose; three step grandchildren – Isabella, Zachary and Maddyson Scott; one sister – Carolyn Menard of Portsmouth, Ohio and one brother – Frankie Taylor.
Following cremation, a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 3:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the Bethel American Legion Hall, 3393 Legion Lane, Bethel, Ohio 45106. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
