Amanda Newberry

Amanda Poe Newberry, age 43 of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 15, 2026 at the Villa Georgetown Nursing and Healthcare Center. She was born August 31, 1982 in McKinney, Texas the daughter of the late David and Kathleen (Maxwell) Ward. Amanda was a devoted wife, loving mother, homemaker and talented cook who found great joy in caring for her family. She enjoyed doing hair, makeup and nails, always taking pride in looking her best. Amanda was a kind and compassionate person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her caring nature and genuine love for others were evident in the way she lovingly cared for those around her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter – Autumn Newberry.

Mrs. Newberry is survived by her loving husband of 22 years – Jason Newberry whom she married April 4, 2004; two children – Summer Newberry and Eli Newberry both of Georgetown, Ohio; three grandchildren – Renae Newberry and Elizabeth and Zechariah Windsor; one brother – David Ward of Portsmouth, Ohio; one aunt – Levon Moore; two cousins – Dylan Moore and Kyle Banks; father and mother-in-law – Fred Newberry and Sharon Chambers both of Georgetown, Ohio; three brothers-in-law – Travis Newberry, Brandon Newberry and Cody Nipper all of Georgetown, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, no services will be held. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio are serving the family.
