Anna Roberta Davis

Anna Roberta Davis, age 95 of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at the Meadowwood Nursing Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Ms. Davis was a 1931 graduate of the Washington High School in Washington, Kentucky. She became a member of the Washington M.E. Church in Washington, Kentucky at an early age and taught Sunday school class for several years. After moving to Felicity, Ohio from Mason County, Kentucky in 1946 she moved her church membership to the United Methodist Church in Felicity, Ohio and attended regularly until her health failed. In 1962 she moved to Feesburg, Ohio and in 1967 after five years of service she retired from Brown County General Hospital as a nurse assistant. Upon retirement she cared for two elderly ladies in her home and several whom lived nearby. Ms. Davis was born on June 25, 1911 in Mason County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Emma Lee (Ward) Davis.

Ms. Davis is survived by one sister - Mrs. Minnie Schadle of Felicity, Ohio; three nieces - Carol Shinkle, Lillian Johnson and Barbara Rasser; one nephew - Edward Rasser and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 14, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Kevin Whitsett will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Elizaville Cemetery in Fleming County, Kentucky.
