August John Vrchota, age 86 of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. He was born August 16, 1924 in Veblen, South Dakota the son of the late Wenzel Martin and Nettie T. (Zahardink) Vrchota. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Agnes Marie (Sloan) Vrchota in 1992.
Mr. Vrchota is survived by two daughters - Janet Hurlburt and husband Michael of New Richmond, Ohio and Linda Wilson and husband James of Georgetown, Ohio; two grandsons - Shane Jones and Jason Frazier; four great grandchildren - Shane Jones, Jr., Lily Jones, Ema Jones and Charley Lucy Jones and one sister - Adeline Butzin of Wadena, Minnesota.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 17, 2011 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
