Austin Dunkin

Austin Junior Dunkin, age 89 of Georgetown, Ohio died Wednesday, October 30, 2013at the Villa Georgetown in Georgetown, Ohio. He retired as a rural mail carrier for the Peebles, Ohio Post Office after thirty-seven years. Mr. Dunkin served in the United States Army during World War II in the European Theater during the liberation of France. He was trained as a medic serving in the 153rd anti aircraft artillery battalion where he received many decorations including two battle stars and a glider badge. Mr. Dunkin was also a member of the Adams County DAV. He was born December 31, 1923 in Adams County, Ohio the son of the late Austin and Hulda (Malone) Dunkin.
