Bernard F. Kenney

Bernard Francis Kenney, age 74 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, July 12, 2015 at the Mt.Orab Medical Center in Mt.Orab, Ohio. He was a retired project manager for the Triangle Investment Company, a United States Army veteran, a member of the St. George Catholic Church in Georgetown, Ohio, a volunteer for Crossroads Hospice and the Georgetown Fire Department Chaplin. Bernie was born July 22, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio the son of the late Bernard F. and Frances (Cotter) Kenney.

Mr. Kenney is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Vera Anne (Seidel) Kenney, whom he married April 20, 1963; two children – Karen Slattery and husband Greg of New Carlisle, Ohio and Steven Kenney of Columbus, Ohio; two grandchildren – Amanda Slattery and fiancé Rich Albritton of Pinellas Park, Florida and Jeremy Slattery and fiancée Krystina Canady of New Carlisle, Ohio; three great grandchildren – Raiden and Ryan Albritton and Branson Slattery; one brother – Don Kenney and wife Cheryl of Westerville, Ohio and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the St. George Catholic Church in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Hans Gruenbauer will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Cremation will follow the mass of Christian burial.
