Bernice "Bernie" Diane Moore, age 63, of Huntsville, Alabama died Sunday, March 15, 2009 at her residence. She was a homemaker. Bernie was born on June 15, 1945 in Ripley, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer Vernon Lofton of Ripley, Ohio and the late Mildred (Moorehead) Lofton. Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by one son - Adrian David Lofton.
Besides her father, Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband of twenty-six years, Nathan C. Moore of Huntsville, Alabama; one daughter - Darlene Karol Leslie of Clarksville, Tennessee; two sons - Eric Hayes Parker and wife, Joyce, of Russellville, Ohio and Stephen Lee Parker of Ripley, Ohio; five grandchildren,- Amber Berlin Lofton and Tiffany Joy Lofton, both of San Diego, California; Jordan Nicole Leslie and Noah Rahman Leslie, both of Clarksville, Tennessee and Laine Hayes Parker of Russellville, Ohio; one great-granddaughter - Aeralyn Lofton of San Diego, California; three sisters - Lois Jean Sroufe of Ripley, Ohio; Carole Stokes and Vivian Stewart and husband, Cecil Dewberry, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; five sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio is serving the family.
