Bessie Mae Smith, age 92 of Ripley, Ohio died Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Maysville Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility in Maysville, Kentucky. In her lifetime she worked for the U.S. Shoe Factory and retired from there in 1982. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the DAV, The Ripley Tobacco Museum, Ripley Heritage, The Progress Club and the Ripley Church of Christ.
