Betty Witten Ring

Betty Witten Ring, age 81 of Georgetown, Ohio died Monday, May 21, 2007 at the Meadowwood Nursing Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Ring was a retired teacher for White Oak High School in Mowrystown, Ohio and a member of the Georgetown United Methodist Church. She was born on June 26, 1925 in Paintsville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late William Pitt and Beulah (Ward) Witten. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry M. Ring in 1984, two brothers, John and Pitt Witten and one sister, Helen Hill.
Mrs. Ring is survived by one son - Greg Ring and wife Annette of Georgetown, Ohio and one step grandson - Geoff Diesman of Georgetown, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 25, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Friday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery.
