Beverly Kay Polley, age 62 of Aberdeen, Ohio passed away Monday, June 23, 2025 at the Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Kentucky. She was born May 13, 1963 in Maysville, Kentucky the daughter of the late James Henry and Geraldine (Hickman) Moran. Bev was a cherished wife, mother, mamaw, sister, aunt and so much more. Her warm laughter and radiant smile brought joy to everyone around her. Bev had a remarkable ability to love with her whole heart and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her welcoming nature meant that no one remained a stranger for long; she had a gift for making everyone feel like family. She was a devoted homemaker and found great happiness in spending time boating and camping with her beloved camp family at Drifter’s Paradise. Additionally, she was an avid fan of NASCAR, passionately following the sport she loved. Bev's legacy will continue to shine through the countless lives she touched with her kindness and warmth. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one siter-in-law – Paula Mitchell.
Mrs. Polley is survived by her husband of 40 years – Charles “Chuck” Lewis Polley whom she married November 4, 1984; four children – Samantha Sexton and husband Carl of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Brad Polley and wife Jennifer of Vanceburg, Kentucky, Jessica Hackney and husband Frank of Aberdeen, Ohio and Jason Polley and wife Heather of Blue Creek, Ohio; seven grandchildren – Dawson Polley, Keiara Polley, Raquel Hackney, Maleigha Hackney, Bryce Sexton, Travis Hackney and Zander Hackney; three sisters – Glenda Huddleston and husband Bob of Germantown, Kentucky, Lisa Truesdell and husband Dennis of Orangeburg, Kentucky and Ellie Moran of Germantown, Kentucky; one brother-in-law- Tommy Mitchell of Aberdeen, Ohio; five nephews – JB Huddleston and wife Brandy, Rob Huddleston, Nathan Truesdell, Stacy Boone and wife Amanda and Jamie Mitchell and wife Brandy and three nieces – Tamatha Meadows and husband Dewayne, Megan Story and husband Jacob and Becky Barber and husband Rick.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. David Benjamin will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Friday, June 27, 2025 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Charter Oak Cemetery in Aberdeen, Ohio.
