Bill Kattine

Bill Kattine, age 85 of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, September 10, 2009 at the Villa Georgetown in Georgetown, Ohio. He was a farmer, a retired employee of the Inmont Corporation in Cincinnati, Ohio and a United States Navy World War II veteran serving on the USS Birmingham. Bill was born on November 10, 1923 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Charles and Tillie (Bradford) Kattine. He was also preceded in death by three brothers - Carl, Howard and Charles Kattine and one sister - Elsie Miller.

Mr. Kattine is survived by his wife of sixty-three years - Evelyn "Peachy" (Marxmiller)Kattine; three children - Rick Kattine and wife Joan of Georgetown, Ohio, Jim Kattine of Peebles, Ohio and Bettianna Black and husband Dennis of Winchester, Ohio; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister - Alma McGohan of Cincinnati, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 13, 2009 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Chaplain Bill Graybill will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery with veteran services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180.
