Billy Ray "Trey" Powell, III, three week old infant son of Billy Ray Powell, Jr. and Leslie Lunsford of Aberdeen, Ohio, died Saturday, May 5, 2007 at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on April 14, 2007 at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati.
Besides his parents, Trey leaves behind to mourn an older sister, Madison Preston, at home; grandparents - Billy and Sandy Powell of Aberdeen, Ohio, Tina Updike and John Boling of Higginsport, Ohio, Terry and Kelly Lunsford of Higginsport, Ohio; great grandparents - Jewell Lunsford of Higginsport, Ohio, Emma Fite of Maysville, KY., Charles Riddle of Higginsport, Ohio and Patsy Wilson of Maysville, KY.; three very special aunts, Nickie Benjamin of Ripley, Ohio, Amanda Powell of Aberdeen, Ohio and Melissa Davis of Higginsport, Ohio. He also leaves behind many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Trey is preceded in death by four great grandparents - Linda Riddle, Charles Fite, Clayton Lunsford and Junior Powell; one great uncle, Dave Boling; three cousins, Trent Evans, Wally Evans and Anthony Bowling.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Shinkle's Ridge Cemetery near Higginsport, Ohio.
