Billy Shropshire

Robert William Shropshire, Jr. (also affectionately known as "Billy" and "Swap"), age 51 of Ripley, Ohio, died Monday, November 3, 2008 at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, following a long illness. He was a lineman for Brown Co. Rural Water Association. Billy was born on September 22, 1957 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Robert William Shropshire, Sr. and Florena (Bealer) Shropshire.

Billy is survived by four sisters - Sharon, Melinda and Terrisa Shropshire, all of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Lontina Shropshire of Ripley, Ohio; one brother, Tony (Jackie) Shropshire of Ripley; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 7, 2008 at Red Oak Cemetery near Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday evening, November 6 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio.
