Bob M. Coomer

Bob M. Coomer, age 89 of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at his residence. He was retired from Kroger Manufacturing. Bob was born September 2, 1930 in Somerset, Kentucky the son of the late James D. and Ollie (Stringer) Coomer. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons – Larry M. Coomer and James A. Coomer, one sister – Chestine Waller and one niece – Shirley Behrman.

Mr. Coomer is survived by his wife of 68 years, Evelyn M. (Waddle) Coomer whom he married June 23, 1951; two children – Janice M. Gregory and husband Dairl of Fayetteville, Ohio and Robert E. Coomer and wife Tabby of Batavia, Ohio; two daughters-in-law – Pamela Coomer of Fayetteville, Ohio and Linda Coomer of Hillsboro, Ohio; four grandchildren – Jessica McDaniel and Jake Eastham of Fairfax, Ohio, Gary Gregory and wife Ryan of Batavia, Ohio, David Coomer of Richmond, Virginia and James Coomer of Cincinnati, Ohio; eight great grandchildren – Cody Mahlenkamp and Kryssi Ross of Fairfax, Ohio, Andrew Bolton and Keali Bolton both of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ryanna Cox of Fairfax, Ohio, Brianna Gregory of Chillicothe, Ohio, Tyler Eastham, Madeline Eastham and Jesse Eastham all of Fairfax, Ohio and one great-great grandchild – Audrinna Mahlenkamp.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Joe Strunk will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the funeral service.
