Bobby Joe Eckler, age 75 of Aberdeen, Ohio died peacefully at his home on Thursday, June 9, 2011 . He was a retired construction laborer. He was born March 7, 1936 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Charles and Rose Nell (Doty) Eckler.
Mr. Eckler is survived by his life long companion - Donna (Bradford) Eckler; two daughters - Cindy Hatfield and husband Danny of Sadieville, Kentucky and Gladys Eckler and friend Scot Carter of Batavia, Ohio; four sons - James Joseph Eckler of Ripley, Ohio, Chris Eckler and wife Opal of Ripley, Ohio, Bobby Lee Eckler and wife Brandi of Aberdeen, Ohio and Tony Eckler and wife Tina of Tollesboro, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister - Shirley Cooper and husband Bob of Hudson, Ohio; and one brother-in-law - Bill Bradford of Ripley, Ohio. He also leaves behind his faithful little dog Princess.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio is serving the family.
