Bonita Carol Kirschner

Bonita Carol Kirschner (nee Clifton), 71 of Ripley, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026 at her home, surrounded by family. She was born June 13, 1954 in Chilo, Ohio the daughter of the late Carol Lee and Bonnie Lee Francis Clifton.

She attended Ripley High School, Class of 1973. Bonita was known for her sense of humor, love for music, bold honesty, love of gardening and delicious cooking. Most know her from managing Long John Silvers in Georgetown, Ohio, where she worked for seventeen years.

Mrs. Kirschner is survived by her loving husband of fifty-five years – William (Fred) Kirschner; three children – Joseph (Joe) Kirschner, Jason Kirschner and Melissa Richey (Clay); two grandchildren – Kirkland and Colin Kirschner.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Shinkle’s Ridge Cemetery near Higginsport, Ohio.
