Buford Mitchell Vineyard, Jr. age 62 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the Villa Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Georgetown, Ohio. He was a social worker and a United States Army Vietnam War veteran. Mitch was born on April 6, 1947 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Buford M. and Rosa (Lawson) Vineyard, Sr.. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister - Judith Belle.
Mr. Vineyard is survived by three children - Myschelle Baker and husband John of Fruitland, Florida, Troy Vineyard and wife Keisha of Latham, Ohio and Tyler Vineyard of Georgetown, Ohio; six grandchildren - Taylor, Aaron and Chase Fenbers and Layla, Jude and Lily Vineyard and one sister - Sherry Dressell of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Les McLaughin will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio with veteran services by the American Legion Post # 180 in Georgetown, Ohio.
