Calvin H. Cahall, age 90 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Ripley, Ohio. Mr. Cahall was the owner and operator of Cahall Bros., Inc., which was established in 1953 and served a president since 1980. Before then, he was a partner for twenty-five years along with his brother, Perry Cahall. He was an active and faithful member of the St. George Catholic Church in Georgetown, Ohio, a United States World War II Army veteran, a member of the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180, was a sub carrier for the Georgetown branch of the United States Postal Service from 1953-1974 and served as a director of the Ohio Savings Association (currently known as the First Safety Bank) from 1965-1980. Calvin received the Drucker Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Brown County Chamber of Commerce, was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel in 1981 and served as the grand marshal of the Ohio Valley Antique Machinery Association, the Brown County Agricultural Society and the Ohio Tobacco Festival.
