Carl E. Yockey

Carl E. Yockey, age 85 of Sardinia, Ohio died Sunday, January 7, 2007 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Yockey was retired from Cincinnati Milacron and was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Arnheim, Ohio. He was born on April 17, 1921 in Brown County, Ohio the son of the late Florence and Bessie (Allman) Yockey. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Virgil Yockey.

Mr. Yockey is survived by his wife - Betty (Gaffin) Yockey; one son - Randy Yockey and wife Glenda of Sardinia, Ohio; two grandsons - Kyle and Shawn Yockey and two sisters - Mae Abbott of Georgetown, Ohio and Anna Harman of Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at the Arnheim Peace Lutheran Church. Rev. Roger W. Lawrence will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Sardinia Cemetery in Sardinia, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Boulevard, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.
