Carla L. Pennington

Carla Lynn Pennington, age 54 of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025 at her residence. She was born January 30, 1971 in Covington, Kentucky the daughter of the late Carl Pennington and Shirley Cooper. Carla was a devoted mother and beloved nana, leaving a lasting impact on those who knew her. She dedicated many years to the fast-food industry, serving as a manager with great commitment. Family was the heart of Carla's life and she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. Her love and devotion to her family will always be remembered. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her life partner – Tommy Connor in 2022.

Ms. Pennington is survived by three children – Chris Pennington and Becca Moe of Georgetown, Ohio, Shawn Connor and Erin Hutchins of Amelia, Ohio and Felicia Green and husband Tyler of Mt.Orab, Ohio; eight grandchildren – Aubry and Brantley Green, Scarlett, Cyrilla, Norah and Silah Pennington and Xaq and Aiden Connor; two brothers – Michael McGaha and Carl “Bud” Pennington both of Kentucky and one sister – Sonya Nicely of Kentucky.

Memorial Gathering will be held from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Inurnment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio following the memorial gathering.
