Carol Ann Darnell

Mrs. Carol Ann Darnell, age 44 of Aberdeen, Ohio, died Monday, April 3, 2006 at her residence, following a long illness. She was a restorative aide at Eagle Creek Nursing Home in West Union, Ohio and was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ. Mrs. Darnell was born on February 28, 1962 in Sumpter, S.C. the daughter of the late Russell Pollitt and Marjorie (Freeze) Pollitt.

Besides her mother, Carol is survived by her husband of twenty eight years, Ricky Darnell; one daughter - Elizabeth Ann Darnell of Aberdeen, Ohio; four sons - Randy Lee Darnell of Manchester, Ohio, Christopher Allen Darnell, Brandon R. Darnell and Seth Logan Darnell, all at home; a grandson, Cody; two sisters - Terry Jean Pollitt of Aberdeen, Ohio and Wynn Hope Pollitt of Parkersburg, W.V.; one brother, William Pollitt of Mt. Orab, Ohio.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 6, 2006 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Pastor Richard Lloyd will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
