Carolyn W. (Walsh) Devore

Carolyn Walsh DeVore, age 81 of Hamilton, Ohio and formerly of Georgetown, Ohio died Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at the Hospice of Hamilton in Hamilton, Ohio. She was a nursing instructor at the University of Cincinnati and Miami University. She was born November 27, 1938 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late Burton M. and Dorothy Caroline (McElroy) Walsh. She was also preceded in death by one daughter – Judith DeVore Winzurk.

Mrs. DeVore is survived by her husband of sixty-four years – Donald E. DeVore, whom she married February 1, 1956; two sons - Jeffrey Donald DeVore and wife Teresa Christine of Beavercreek, Ohio and Michael E. DeVore and wife Nancy of Loveland, Ohio and six grandchildren – Jessica DeVore, Cindy Brenner and husband Eric, Sara DeVore, Thomas DeVore,and Jordan and Zachary Winzurk.

Following cremation, Private Memorial Graveside Services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2020 at the Red Oak Cemetery near Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Daniel Pelzel will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Red Oak Cemetery. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
