Carolyn Kay Wilson

Carolyn Kay Wilson, age 68 of Ripley, Ohio died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at the Meadowview Regional Hospital in Maysville, Kentucky. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ripley Church of Christ and the Ripley Lions Club. She was born on February 13, 1940 in Aberdeen, Ohio, the daughter of the late Virgil and Helen (Carpenter) Howard. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and Tommy Howard.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband - John E. Wilson, whom she married on November 26, 1960; five children - Tammy Driscoll and husband David of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Frank Wilson of Ripley, Ohio; John T. Wilson and wife Robin of Aberdeen, Ohio; Marla Wilson of Ripley, Ohio and Ronald L. Wilson of Goshen, Ohio; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters - Judy Dunbar of Pasadena, Texas and Paula Washington of Columbus, Ohio and one brother-in-law - James Wilson and wife Marietta of Ironton, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 22, 2008 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. John Neu will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00-4:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Shinkles Ridge Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Boulevard, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154 or to the Courts-Fussnecker American Legion Post #367, 2944 Elk River Road, Ripley, Ohio 45167.
