Cathy Lois Skidmore McCollum, age 58 of Bethel, Ohio, died Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the Hospice of Hope East in Anderson Township. She was an interior decorator. Cathy was born on April 22, 1949 in Fayetteville, Ohio the daughter of the late Andrew J. Kirk and Rachel Mary (Back) Collins.
Mrs. McCollum is survived by her husband Tom McCollum of Bethel, Ohio; two daughters - Jill Woollard and husband Shannon of Russellville, Ohio and Rhetta Jo Woods of Springboro, Ohio; three sons - Bradley William Curtis and wife Karen of Sardinia, Ohio; Brandon David Curtis and wife Patricia of Ripley, Ohio and Bret Howard Curtis of Georgetown, Ohio; three step children - T.J. and Christy McCollum of Cincinnati, Ohio and Brian Skidmore of Muncie, Indiana; nine grandchildren; four step grandchildren; two brothers - Vernon Collins and wife Mary of Hamersville, Ohio and Desker Collins of Georgetown, Ohio; four sisters - Joan Wright and husband Lonnie of Hamersville, Ohio; Ramona Lohr and husband Russ of Fairfax, Ohio; Midge Moore and husband William of Georgetown, Ohio and Teresa Royalty and husband Jon of Hamersville, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday December 21, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. John Neu will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Amelia, Ohio.
