Cecelia Ruth (Rowling) Gump

Cecelia Ruth Gump, age 94 of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Villa Georgetown in Georgetown, Ohio. She was a cook and waitress at Frisch’s for 25 years. Cecelia was born December 11, 1922 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late William Jennings and Christine (Zadek) Rowling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband – William Frank Gump and one brother – William Rowling.
Mrs. Gump is survived by her daughter – Sharon Meyer of Mt. Orab, Ohio; one grandson – John Timothy Meyer of Bethel, Ohio; one nephew – Greg Rowling and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Pastor David Dewitt will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Vine Street Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio at the convenience of the family.
